Situated at no. 1 Tahunanui Drive, Cheapies started in June 2008 with 60 cars on site. In December 2009 the yard was transformed to hold over 100 vehicles. From the start Heath Scott has been the Sales Manager of this site taking care of all on site finance and actively purchasing vehicles, locally and from Japan. So if you want something special that we don’t have or you want to sell your vehicle drop in for a chat.

 

Heath is a born and bred local, with over 10 years experience in the motor vehicle industry. After starting at The Car Company and then moving to Australia to work in one of Victoria’s largest vehicle dealerships, Heath returned to Nelson in 2005 to start a family. Living in Stoke with his wife Angela and 2 sons James and Sam, Heath is proud to have the opportunity to be back as part of the successful Car Company team.

Mid 2010 saw Rob Kamper join the team as a Salesperson, bringing a familiar and friendly face that a lot of people in the region will recognise. Complimented by his genuine desire to deliver an enjoyable purchase experience from the beginning to end, Rob will make your purchase smooth and hassle free. 

Rob moved From Napier to Nelson 13 years ago with his wife Silke and two children Jessica and Jamie. Since the move they continue to enjoy the great outdoors from biking to boating.  After having a break from 9 years in the motor industry, he is happy to be back doing what he truly enjoys and is proud to be working as a part of the team at The Car Company.
